In November 2022, I spent 7 days, isolated on the isle of Senja, Norway. During my time, I experienced existing just to exist and it forged a new way of breathing and thinking into my bones and into my soul.
This collection of pieces are directly connected to everything I experienced on my trip. With each piece, much of what I carved into the silver is reminiscent of the texture I saw all throughout Norway. From the glistening mountains of Fjordgard, to the ripples cascading throughout the waters of Senja, to the mystifying dancing lights from dear Aurora, down to the grooves and lines I found in the stones and trees from the forests of Vardnesmyra.
